Munchkin Manor is a neighborhood preschool located in a comfortable home in the Creston-Kenilworth neighborhood.  The director and lead teacher, Heidi Donahue, has a Master's in Environmental Education and has created a curriculum that is a unique mix of Reggio Emilia, Montessori and Environmental Education.  All three approaches to early childhood education give children some control over the direction of their learning, highlight the importance of using all senses to learn and honor the endless range of ways children have to express themselves.  We provide an environment where children feel safe and part of a small community of families and teachers working together to meet the needs of each child.  We offer daily circle times, literacy lessons, music and movement, art activities and lots of exploration of the natural world.  We believe that children learn best when they are allowed to follow their natural curiosities about the world.
